Boys Basketball Picture Day
The boys basketball teams will be getting their team pictures done on Friday, January 10th after school. Boys will need their game jersey and game shorts for the pictures. Email Mr. Trombley with questions ([email protected]).
Algonquin Boys Basketball Remind101
Once cuts have been made, all players and their parents need to sign up for the Algonquin Boys Basketball Remind 101. To join, please click the link below and follow the instructions.

After a student makes the cut for the basketball team, there are additional steps that need to be completed.
Online Paperwork- Student-athletes and parents need to go to FamilyID.com and go to the “Find a Program” section to search for Algonquin. This will bring you to a heading that says Chippewa Valley High School. Below that heading your will see “Algonquin Athletic Registration”. Click that to complete the paperwork for basketball.
Pay for Warm-up T-shirt- About a week after cuts are made, Mr. Trombley will be assigning a fee to each player in PaySchools Central for their warm-up t-shirt. Mr. Trombley will send a Remind101 out when the fee is assigned to all of the players. Parents can check PaySchools Central periodically to see if the payment is there and can be paid.

Algonquin Girls Basketball Information
2025 Girls Basketball Tryout Information
Tryouts for girls basketball will be Friday, January 17th, Wednesday January 22nd, and Thursday January 23rd. Tryouts are after school until 4:30. Girls must have a completed physical turned in to Mr. Trombley in order to tryout. If you need to get a physical done today, you can go to any urgent care or CVS minute clinic. Please check with Mr. Trombley before tryouts if you think you have a physical turned in already. It is expected that you will attend all three days of tryouts. If you have any questions, please check the Algonquin basketball webpage or see Mr. Trombley.
