HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER SCHOOL

Classes begin on Monday, June 23rd and close on Thursday, August 7th.

THERE ARE NO EXTENSIONS AVAILABLE FOR SUMMER CLASSES. ALL CLASSES MUST BE COMPLETED, INCLUDING FINAL EXAMS, BY AUGUST 7TH.

Registration for a summer school course does not guarantee a passing grade or credit toward graduation requirements. Each course will be credit/no credit (CR/NC). It is advised that students reach out to their counselors as Chippewa Valley is not responsible for incorrect course registration.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can students finish earlier than August 7th? – YES! Students will be working asynchronously, at their own pace, with a district teacher for support. To earn credit, students must complete 100% of all coursework with an overall grade of 60% or higher.

When are result reports sent to my high school? – In-district student results will be reported in PowerSchool. Out-of-district students will have a grade report sent to their counselor by August 31.

Are there tutors available at summer school? – No, but you can contact companies such as Mathnasium and Kumon

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

There is a cost for each semester course. Charges of $195 - one class (0.5 credit)/ $390.00 - two classes (1 credit)/ $585.00 - three classes (1.5 credits) for all students (Credit Forward Students are only allowed up to (2) classes in the summer session.)
Discounted rates are available online for free or reduced lunch and will be verified. If the student does not qualify, the difference in payment must be made or the student will not receive credit for the course. REGISTRATION and PAYMENT DEADLINE: JUNE 18, 2025 @ 4:00 pm to begin classes by June 23rd.

TIMELINE

April 28---Registration begins online for Credit Recovery, Credit Forward, and Testing Out

June 18 ---Last Day of Registration for Credit Recovery Classes to begin 6/23

June 23---Summer school courses begin. Course access information will be emailed to students by 8am on June 23rd.

June 26---Last day to add/drop summer school courses by 4:00pm (ONLINE ONLY) Note: Late registrations will be activated 24 hours after enrollment.

June 30 - July 4---Holiday Break -- student will have full access but teachers will NOT be available

August 7---Summer school courses end.
